Estudo limnológico de um trecho do Rio Moji-Guaçu. I. Caracterí­­sticas fí­­sicas

Abstract

The Moji-Guaçu River was studied from October 1973 to September 1975. The research was based on the investigation of  some physical characteristics in a stretch of the river, to extend the limnological knowledge of streams and its possible pratical uses. The parameters studied in five stations were: temperature, color, turbidity, Secchi disc transparence. Climatological and fluviometric factors were also considered. To conclude, we can say that the values of the physical factors showed a considerable seasonal variation, mainly as a result of the rainfall and runoff.
