Abstract

The numbers of lower-limb gill-rakers of the first branquial arch and the dorsal, anal and left pectoral finn rays were compared in 12 successive monthly samples of Anchoviella lepidentostole from Ribeira River, Registro, São Paulo State, Brazil. No significant differences were found (P > 0.05). The results suggest a population without reproductive isolation.
