Abstract

Santos (1992) presents the development of a dynamics of polycohortic populations (with overlapping generations) mathematical model, by means of difference equations, and the analysis of the stability of the equilibrium points. This paper deals with the particular case of monocohortic populations (non-overlapping generations) and density dependent recruitment as homeostatic mechanism.
