Abstract

This interdisciplinary study analyzes the aquaculture environmental governance of metropolitan region of São Paulo, SP (RMSP) í  Brazil, through the sustainability levels (sensu MUIR, 1996), public policies, management plans, legislation and environmental management practices of aquacultures, correlating them to local productive specific arrangements, management instruments and development plans, currently applied to RMSP.
