Influência da temperatura, precipitação pluviométrica e insolação na reprodução de Macrobrachium holthuisi Genofre & Lobão, 1976 (Crustacea, Decapoda)
Abstract
Macrobrachium holthuisi reproduces all over the year, but chiefly in autumn that is, from March to May. It was observed there is an inverse relation between reproduction and rain because the smallest numbers of mature females were found during the rainy season. An inverse relation there seems exist between reproduction and water temperature: an increase of temperature leads to an acceleration of the moulting rhythm and the consequent inhibition of the ovogenesis. Light also seems to have influence in the reproduction of this species; it was observed that the amount of mature females during the periods of lower in solation was greater than in those when the insolation was higher.
