Abstract

The purpose of this paper is the determination of the "reproduction curve" of the sea bob shrimp population of Santos  Bay (Brazil, 23°S). This population is exploited by the fishing  fleet of Santos. We got the following relationship:

        Where:

 R = number of recruits per unit effort,

N = mean number of individuals per unit

 Effort during the spawning period, related with R.
