NíO CONSTAAbstract
Longline germon catches in Southeastern and Southern Brazil indicate an important group which is present primarily into the Southern area (26°S-32°S) at the second and the third quarter of the year. It is suggested that this group is part of a second population in the South Atlantic Ocean. Weights and length-weight relationships are presented. Sex ratio observed in 1977 was 1:1 but with some variations according to the fish size.
