Efeito da suplementação de lipídeos na dieta de reprodutores de linguado, Solea senegalensis, na quantidade e qualidade das posturas

A qualidade dos ovos de linguado (Solea senegalensis) alimentados com dietas com diferentes níveis de lipídeos foi avaliada [dieta controle (DC) e outra contendo 6,7% mais lipídeos (grupo DE)]. Foi avaliada a quantidade e periodicidade de posturas e os níveis de atividade de catepsinas do tipo B e D na fração viável e inviável dos ovos de ambos os grupos. O número de posturas e a taxa de eclosão foram significativamente maiores (p<0,05) no grupo alimentado com a dieta DE. A catepsina D apresentou valores significativamente mais elevados de atividade nos ovos inviáveis do tratamento DE. O uso da dieta DE resultou em maior número de posturas, o que indica que esta dieta aumenta a fecundidade e a taxa de eclosão.
