Survey of the species of shrimp in the product of fishery directed to Xiphopenaeus kroyeri Heller, 1869, in the São Paulo State, Brazil

Abstract

In 1979 and 1980 the following species were identified in São Paulo State coast, Brazil: Hymenopenaeus muelleri (Bate, 1888); Sicyonia typica (Boeck, 1864); Sicyonia dorsalis Kingsley, 1878; Penaeus schmitti Burkenroad, 1936; Penaeus brasiliensis Latreille, 1817; Penaeus paulensis Perez-Farfante, 1967; Artemesia longinaris Bate, 1888; Trachypenaeus constrictus (Stimpson, 1874); Acetes americanus Ortmann, 1893; Nematopalaemon schmitti (Holthuis, 1950); Exhippolysmata oplophoroides (Holthuis, 1948).
