Abstract

It was analyzed the rainbow trout, Salmo irideus, condition factor variations under intensive culture. Also, it was determined the relationships between its growth rate and gonadal maturation stages. The condition factor mean value was calculated: 0.0112. Lower monthly values were observed mainly for immature than old fish. For females in different gonadal maturation stages the condition factor seemed to be influenced by the ovaries weight.
