Ocorrência de Monstrilla sp. em Perna perna cultivado no Brasil

Resumo

Copepoditos do gênero Monstrilla foram registrados em Perna perna cultivados no litoral do estado de Santa Catarina, Brasil. Entre julho de 2010 a junho de 2011 foram coletados 2.880 indiví­­duos de P. perna nos principais municí­­pios produtores do Estado para análises ao estereomicroscópio, microscopia de contraste diferencial (DIC), microscopia eletrônica de varredura (SEM) e histopatologia. Foi registrada a presença de copepoditos e fêmeas pré-adultas em nódulos apenas no tecido conjuntivo da borda do manto dos animais, com prevalência de 43,33% nos mexilhões de Palhoça em junho de 2010, sem casos de mortalidade. Não foi observada infiltração de hemócitos no tecido infestado.
